Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.88%
The Nifty Realty index closed 0.88 per cent up at 955.25.
NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index closed on a positive note on Tuesday.Shares of Sobha Ltd.(up 3.92 per cent), Sunteck Realty Ltd.(up 2.88 per cent), Oberoi Realty Ltd.(up 2.47 per cent), Godrej Properties Ltd.(up 2.02 per cent) and Macrotech Developers Ltd.(up 1.91 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(down 1.11 per cent) and Phoenix Mills Ltd.(down 0.36 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 0.88 per cent up at 955.25.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 113.8 points at 22217.85, while the BSE Sensex stood up 328.48 points at 73104.61.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 34 ended in the green, while 16 closed in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Zomato, NHPC and Indian Railway Fin were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Aarti Pharmalabs, Peninsula Land, HG Infra Engg, BASF India and MRO-TEK Realty hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while GSS Infotech, Medico Remedies, Future Supply Chain, IRB InvIT Fund and Mask Investments hit their fresh 52-week lows.
