Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.51%

On the other hand, Sunteck Realty Ltd.(down 0.91 per cent), Godrej Properties Ltd.(down 0.74 per cent), DLF Ltd.(down 0.31 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(down 0.25 per cent) and Oberoi Realty Ltd.(down 0.09 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.

The Nifty Realty index closed 0.51 per cent up at 1119.5.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 15.66 points at 24302.15, while the BSE Sensex stood up 62.87 points at 80049.67.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 22 ended in the green, while 28 closed in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, NBCC , HUDCO and Inox Wind Ltd. were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Mangalam Global Ent, IFB Agro, Country Club, Mazagon Dock Ship and MBL Infra hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Filatex Fashions, Future Supply Chain, IndInfravit Trust, Ahimsa Ind and GIR Natureview hit their fresh 52-week lows.
