Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.47%
The Nifty Realty index closed 0.47 per cent up at 834.05.
NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index closed on a positive note on Monday.Shares of Macrotech Developers Ltd.(up 7.71 per cent), Sobha Ltd.(up 2.51 per cent), Oberoi Realty Ltd.(up 1.64 per cent), DLF Ltd.(up 1.53 per cent) and Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd.(up 1.29 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(down 3.68 per cent), Phoenix Mills Ltd.(down 3.33 per cent), Godrej Properties Ltd.(down 2.5 per cent), Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(down 1.66 per cent) and Swan Energy Ltd.(down 1.1 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 0.47 per cent up at 834.05.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 32.36 points at 22055.7, while the BSE Sensex stood up 104.99 points at 72748.42.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 23 ended in the green, while 27 closed in the red.
Shares of YES Bank, Vodafone Idea, Tata Steel, NHPC and SJVN were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of The Anup Engg, Reliance Infra, Linde India, Force Motors and Somi Conveyor hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while SITI Networks, Sanco Industries, Vaxtex Cotfab, Prudential Sugar and Stampede Cap(DVR)hit their fresh 52-week lows.
