Stock market update: Nifty Bank index advances 0.91% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Bank index traded positive around 11:00AM(IST)on Monday in an upbeat market.Au Small Finance Bank Ltd.(up 2.77 per cent), Bandhan Bank Ltd.(up 2.26 per cent), Federal Bank Ltd.(up 1.27 per cent), HDFC Bank Ltd.(up 1.21 per cent) and IDFC First Bank Ltd.(up 1.2 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 148.65 points at 22475.55, while the BSE Sensex was up 411.52 points at 74062.87.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Tata Steel, NHPC and Indian Railway Fin were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Nupur Recyclers, Onelife Capital, Nila Spaces L, Action Const. and BSE hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while FutureLifestyleFash, Penta Gold, Latteys Industries, Compuage Infocom and The Western India hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
