Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks down as market falls

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading lower on Thursday at 10:45AM

Aries Agro Ltd.(up 4.43%) and Bohra Industries Ltd.(up 3.19%) were among the top gainers.

Zuari Agro Chemicals Ltd.(down 4.61%), The Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore Ltd.(down 3.25%), Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd.(down 3.19%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers and Chemicals Ltd.(down 2.41%), Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd.(down 2.31%), Madras Fertilizers Ltd.(down 2.24%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products Ltd.(down 1.82%), Agro Phos India Ltd.(down 1.34%), Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd.(down 1.18%) and Deepak Fertilisers & Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd.(down 1.14%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 36.81 points down at 21914.35, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 47.84 points at 72257.04 at around 10:45AM.

Reliance Industries Ltd.(up 1.18%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 0.96%), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(up 0.91%), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(up 0.87%), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(up 0.55%), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(up 0.47%), Titan Company Ltd.(up 0.44%), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 0.42%), Nestle India Ltd.(up 0.37%) and Adani Enterprises Ltd.(up 0.35%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Bajaj Auto Ltd.(down 2.22%), Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(down 1.97%), LTIMindtree Ltd.(down 1.87%), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 1.24%), Axis Bank Ltd.(down 1.18%), UPL Ltd.(down 1.1%), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.05%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 0.99%), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 0.96%) and Grasim Industries Ltd.(down 0.96%) were trading in the red.
