Sensex  falls! These  stocks fell 5% or more in Monday's session

In the Nifty pack, 19 stocks closed in the green, while 31 stocks ended in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 616.75 points down at 73502.64 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, JTL Infra(down 19.99 per cent), Filatex Fash(down 19.98 per cent), Sindhu Trade(down 19.97 per cent), VMV Holidays Ltd.(down 18.58 per cent) and BCL Industries(down 17.45 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.

In the Nifty pack, 19 stocks closed in the green, while 31 stocks ended in the red.

The index closed 160.9 points down at 22332.65.

On the BSE, Skipper Ltd(PP), Vibhor Steel Tubes, PC Products, Virat Ind and Thinkink Picturez hit their fresh 52-week lows, while India Gelatine, Godfrey Philips, Bridge Sec, Chemfab Alkalis and Advani Hotels touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
