Sensex  falls! These  stocks fell 5% or more in Friday's session

In the Nifty pack, 14 stocks closed in the green, while 36 stocks ended in the red.

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 453.85 points down at 72643.43 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Davangere Sugar(down 11.74 per cent), Leading Leasing Fin(down 10.00 per cent), KG Denim(down 10.00 per cent), Natura Hue Chem(down 9.88 per cent) and Provestment Svcs(down 9.87 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.

In the Nifty pack, 14 stocks closed in the green, while 36 stocks ended in the red.

The index closed 123.31 points down at 22023.35.

On the BSE, Danube Industries L, Lords Chloro, Som Datt Fin, Abans Enterprises and Forbes Company hit their fresh 52-week lows, while R K Swamy, Gogia Capital, Solar Ind., Gopal Snacks and Delta Industrial Res touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
