Investing.com – Portugal stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Utilities , Financials and Consumer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Lisbon, the PSI fell 0.06%.
The best performers of the session on the PSI were Banco Comercial Portugues (ELI:BCP ), which unchanged 0.84% or 0.00 points to trade at 0.42 at the close. Meanwhile, Ren Redes Energeticas Nacionais SGPS SA (ELI:RENE ) added 0.62% or 0.02 points to end at 2.42 and EDP Renovaveis (ELI:EDPR ) was up 0.53% or 0.08 points to 15.16 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Mota Engil SGPS SA (ELI:MOTA ), which fell 1.57% or 0.04 points to trade at 2.50 at the close. Altri SGPS SA (ELI:ALSS ) declined 0.91% or 0.04 points to end at 4.81 and Semapa (ELI:SEM ) was down 0.82% or 0.12 points to 14.44.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Lisbon Stock Exchange by 15 to 10 and 5 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for November delivery was down 0.40% or 0.30 to $74.58 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November fell 0.11% or 0.08 to hit $71.08 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.24% or 32.30 to trade at $2,646.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.04% to 1.12, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.17% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 100.44.
