Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Real Estate , Biomed and Communication sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.12%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Energix (TASE:ENRG ), which rose 4.86% or 62.00 points to trade at 1,337.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd (TASE:ENLT ) added 4.67% or 271.00 points to end at 6,080.00 and OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE ) was up 3.08% or 87.00 points to 2,908.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA ), which fell 2.04% or 137.00 points to trade at 6,579.00 at the close. Mizrahi Tefahot (TASE:MZTF ) declined 1.81% or 250.00 points to end at 13,600.00 and Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT ) was down 1.78% or 1,320.00 points to 72,680.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 219 to 215 and 105 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.30% or 0.20 to $65.95 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.19% or 0.13 to hit $69.32 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.17% or 4.45 to trade at $2,538.65 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.43% to 3.77, while EUR/ILS rose 0.35% to 4.16.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 101.70.
