ICICI Pru Life shares  drop  0.22% as Sensex  rises

A total of 5,559 shares changed hands on the counter till 12:22PM (IST)

Shares of . traded 0.22 per cent down at Rs 651.8 at 12:22PM (IST) on Friday, even as benchmark gained 645.62 points to 80542.96. The scrip had settled at Rs 653.25 in the previous session.

The stock quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low of Rs 673.6 and Rs 463.5, respectively.

As per BSE data, total traded volume on the counter till 12:22PM (IST) stood at 12:22PM shares with turnover at Rs 0.37 crore.

At the current price, the stock trades at 110.39 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 5.9 per share and 8.0 times its price-to-book value, BSE data showed.

A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher share price today because of growth expectations in the future. Price-to-book value indicates the inherent value of a company and is the measure of the price that investors are ready to pay even for no growth in the business.

The Beta value of the stock, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 1.14.

Shareholding Details
Promoters held 73.24 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Mar-2024, while FIIs owned 13.35 per cent and DIIs 8.54 per cent.
