Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Telecoms , Household and Basic Resources sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite lost 1.67%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Quest Holdings (AT:IQTr ), which rose 3.78% or 0.21 points to trade at 5.76 at the close. Meanwhile, Kri-Kri Milk (AT:KRIr ) added 1.89% or 0.25 points to end at 13.45 and Thessaloniki Water and Sewage Co SA (AT:TWSr ) was up 1.27% or 0.04 points to 3.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Public Power (AT:DEHr ), which fell 4.09% or 0.50 points to trade at 11.72 at the close. Piraeus Bank SA (AT:BOPr ) declined 3.87% or 0.15 points to end at 3.73 and Viohalco SA (AT:VIOH ) was down 3.80% or 0.22 points to 5.57.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 104 to 20 and 14 ended unchanged.
Shares in Kri-Kri Milk (AT:KRIr ) rose to all time highs; rising 1.89% or 0.25 to 13.45.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.67% or 18.35 to $2,757.25 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 1.88% or 1.32 to hit $71.36 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract rose 1.70% or 1.26 to trade at $75.55 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.05% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.04% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 103.84.
