Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Telecoms , Household and Basic Resources sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite lost 0.80%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Domiki Kritis SA (AT:DKRr ), which rose 4.95% or 0.14 points to trade at 2.87 at the close. Meanwhile, Lavipharm SA (AT:LPHr ) added 2.98% or 0.02 points to end at 0.80 and Kri-Kri Milk (AT:KRIr ) was up 1.75% or 0.25 points to 14.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were National Bank of Greece SA (AT:NBGr ), which fell 3.37% or 0.26 points to trade at 7.33 at the close. Iktinos Hellas (AT:IKTr ) declined 2.97% or 0.01 points to end at 0.33 and Intralot (AT:INLr ) was down 2.67% or 0.03 points to 0.91.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 70 to 43 and 24 ended unchanged.
Shares in Kri-Kri Milk (AT:KRIr ) rose to all time highs; up 1.75% or 0.25 to 14.50.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.17% or 4.35 to $2,610.65 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December fell 0.09% or 0.06 to hit $68.06 a barrel, while the January Brent oil contract fell 0.15% or 0.11 to trade at $71.78 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.32% to 1.06, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.08% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.20% at 106.17.
