Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Telecoms , Banking and Household sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite fell 0.37% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Domiki Kritis SA (AT:DKRr ), which rose 5.49% or 0.15 points to trade at 2.88 at the close. Meanwhile, Quest Holdings (AT:IQTr ) added 5.12% or 0.26 points to end at 5.34 and Aegean Airlines (AT:AGNr ) was up 1.89% or 0.19 points to 10.22 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Cenergy Holdings SA (AT:CENEr ), which fell 2.78% or 0.26 points to trade at 9.10 at the close. National Bank of Greece SA (AT:NBGr ) declined 2.47% or 0.18 points to end at 7.27 and Public Power (AT:DEHr ) was down 2.06% or 0.24 points to 11.40.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 60 to 60 and 19 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.47% or 12.70 to $2,663.60 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November fell 1.44% or 1.09 to hit $74.47 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract fell 1.42% or 1.12 to trade at $77.92 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.22% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.07% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.30% at 102.98.
