Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Telecoms , Household and Basic Resources sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite fell 0.00%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Bank of Cyprus Holdings PLC (AT:BOCHGRr ), which rose 4.02% or 0.17 points to trade at 4.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Iktinos Hellas (AT:IKTr ) added 1.64% or 0.01 points to end at 0.31 and Piraeus Port (AT:OLPr ) was up 1.43% or 0.40 points to 28.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Intralot (AT:INLr ), which fell 5.72% or 0.06 points to trade at 0.94 at the close. Ellaktor SA (AT:HELr ) declined 3.03% or 0.05 points to end at 1.73 and Cars Motorcycles and Marine Engine Trade and Import Company SA (AT:MTDr ) was down 2.81% or 0.08 points to 2.59.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 72 to 42 and 22 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 1.05% or 28.20 to $2,704.50 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December fell 0.53% or 0.38 to hit $71.31 a barrel, while the January Brent oil contract fell 0.41% or 0.31 to trade at $74.61 a barrel.
EUR/USD was up 0.83% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.11% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.81% at 104.14.
