Investing.com – Greece stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Construction , Travel and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite rose 0.65%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Intralot (AT:INLr ), which rose 3.89% or 0.04 points to trade at 1.02 at the close. Meanwhile, Biokarpet Industrial and Commercial Enterprises SA (AT:ALBr ) added 3.63% or 0.06 points to end at 1.72 and Intracom Holdings SA (AT:INRr ) was up 3.15% or 0.09 points to 2.79 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Gr Sarantis SA (AT:SRSr ), which fell 1.27% or 0.14 points to trade at 10.86 at the close. Holding Company ADMIE IPTO SA (AT:ADMr ) declined 1.27% or 0.03 points to end at 2.33 and Domiki Kritis SA (AT:DKRr ) was down 1.15% or 0.03 points to 2.59.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 66 to 42 and 26 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.14% or 3.90 to $2,750.10 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 1.18% or 0.84 to hit $72.31 a barrel, while the January Brent oil contract rose 1.08% or 0.81 to trade at $75.89 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.26% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.15% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.23% at 103.55.
