Investing.com – Greece stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Construction , Travel and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General Composite gained 0.18%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Domiki Kritis SA (AT:DKRr ), which rose 6.02% or 0.16 points to trade at 2.73 at the close. Meanwhile, Thrace Plastic (AT:THRr ) added 5.26% or 0.20 points to end at 4.00 and Alpha Bank SA (AT:ACBr ) was up 2.86% or 0.05 points to 1.62 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Intralot (AT:INLr ), which fell 2.60% or 0.03 points to trade at 0.94 at the close. Cenergy Holdings SA (AT:CENEr ) declined 1.70% or 0.15 points to end at 8.68 and Centric Hold (AT:DESr ) was down 1.47% or 0.01 points to 0.34.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 63 to 56 and 21 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.47% or 12.35 to $2,605.35 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 0.10% or 0.07 to hit $68.11 a barrel, while the January Brent oil contract rose 0.14% or 0.10 to trade at $71.93 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.41% to 1.06, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.41% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.43% at 105.91.
