Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Telecoms , Utilities and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 1.34% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Kojamo (HE:KOJAMO ), which rose 2.17% or 0.20 points to trade at 9.43 at the close. Meanwhile, Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV ) added 0.50% or 0.22 points to end at 44.60 and Elisa Oyj (HE:ELISA ) was up 0.05% or 0.02 points to 43.22 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA ), which fell 5.87% or 0.25 points to trade at 3.96 at the close. Valmet Oyj (HE:VALMT ) declined 2.10% or 0.47 points to end at 21.86 and Metso Oyj (HE:METSO ) was down 1.84% or 0.15 points to 8.09.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 117 to 54 and 18 ended unchanged.
Shares in Valmet Oyj (HE:VALMT ) fell to 52-week lows; losing 2.10% or 0.47 to 21.86. Shares in Metso Oyj (HE:METSO ) fell to 52-week lows; down 1.84% or 0.15 to 8.09.
Brent oil for January delivery was down 0.16% or 0.12 to $73.18 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in January fell 0.13% or 0.09 to hit $69.08 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.58% or 15.25 to trade at $2,629.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.21% to 1.06, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.11% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 106.24.
