Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Technology , Telecoms and Consumer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 added 1.22%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Qt Group Oyj (HE:QTCOM ), which rose 7.67% or 5.30 points to trade at 74.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA ) added 4.53% or 0.19 points to end at 4.49 and Nordea Bank Abp (HE:NDAFI ) was up 3.18% or 0.34 points to 11.02 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fortum Oyj (HE:FORTUM ), which fell 2.76% or 0.39 points to trade at 13.73 at the close. Sampo Oyj A (HE:SAMPO ) declined 1.61% or 0.64 points to end at 39.04 and Kojamo (HE:KOJAMO ) was down 0.98% or 0.09 points to 9.10.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 91 to 81 and 17 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for March delivery was up 0.85% or 0.65 to $76.95 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in February rose 0.83% or 0.61 to hit $74.17 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.73% or 19.29 to trade at $2,666.69 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.20% to 1.04, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.00% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 108.26.
