Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Oil & Gas , Consumer Services and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 gained 0.70%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA ), which rose 4.73% or 2.70 points to trade at 59.75 at the close. Meanwhile, Kojamo (HE:KOJAMO ) added 3.33% or 0.34 points to end at 10.55 and Kemira Oyj (HE:KEMIRA ) was up 2.89% or 0.60 points to 21.34 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Kesko Oyj (HE:KESKOB ), which fell 2.30% or 0.42 points to trade at 17.86 at the close. Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV ) declined 1.70% or 0.80 points to end at 46.30 and Qt Group Oyj (HE:QTCOM ) was down 1.35% or 1.20 points to 87.95.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 113 to 58 and 17 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for November delivery was up 0.51% or 0.37 to $72.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October rose 0.52% or 0.36 to hit $69.33 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.16% or 29.95 to trade at $2,610.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.09% to 1.11, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.01% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.34% at 101.01.
