Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Consumer Services , Basic Materials and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 added 0.34% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:TYRES ), which rose 1.75% or 0.15 points to trade at 8.72 at the close. Meanwhile, UPM-Kymmene Oyj (HE:UPM ) added 1.31% or 0.40 points to end at 30.98 and Sampo Oyj A (HE:SAMPO ) was up 1.26% or 0.51 points to 40.92 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE ), which fell 1.18% or 0.25 points to trade at 20.90 at the close. Valmet Oyj (HE:VALMT ) declined 0.58% or 0.15 points to end at 25.75 and Kemira Oyj (HE:KEMIRA ) was down 0.45% or 0.10 points to 22.08.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 95 to 77 and 17 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for November delivery was up 0.73% or 0.56 to $77.49 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October rose 1.03% or 0.76 to hit $74.31 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.25% or 6.20 to trade at $2,533.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.18% to 1.11, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.07% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 101.61.
