(Reuters) - DirecTV will terminate its planned acquisition of Dish TV after bondholders rejected a debt swap that the deal relied on, Axios reported on Thursday, citing a person familiar with the matter.
Satellite TV provider DirecTV said earlier this month it will abandon its planned the acquisition of EchoStar's satellite television business, which includes Dish TV, by Nov. 22 if bondholders don't agree to a debt exchange.
