Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 1.60%

Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Healthcare , Personal & Household Goods and Technology sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 1.60%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were ISS A/S (CSE:ISS ), which rose 3.78% or 4.70 points to trade at 129.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED ) added 3.17% or 13.00 points to end at 423.50 and Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG ) was up 1.32% or 2.00 points to 153.80 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb ), which fell 2.86% or 26.40 points to trade at 895.60 at the close. Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA ) declined 2.76% or 23.50 points to end at 826.50 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa ) was down 2.29% or 225.00 points to 9,595.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 79 to 50 and 21 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.88% or 0.61 to $69.81 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.76% or 0.55 to hit $73.25 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.41% or 10.45 to trade at $2,536.45 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was unchanged 0.03% to 6.73, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.05% at 101.25.
