Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 1.51%

Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Healthcare , Technology and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 1.51%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK ), which rose 0.20% or 1.00 points to trade at 510.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NSISb ) fell 0.59% or 2.40 points to end at 407.70 and Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG ) was down 0.66% or 1.00 points to 151.50 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb ), which fell 2.67% or 2.90 points to trade at 104.00 at the close. Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA ) declined 2.45% or 18.00 points to end at 715.50 and Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED ) was down 1.85% or 6.10 points to 324.20.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 90 to 48 and 18 ended unchanged.

Shares in Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED ) fell to 52-week lows; falling 1.85% or 6.10 to 324.20.

Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.52% or 0.37 to $70.97 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.26% or 0.19 to hit $73.98 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.84% or 22.01 to trade at $2,609.89 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.41% to 7.18, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.27% at 108.08.
