Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas , Chemicals and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.66% to hit a new 6-months low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb ), which rose 3.72% or 33.00 points to trade at 919.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA ) added 3.63% or 30.00 points to end at 857.00 and Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb ) was up 1.96% or 58.00 points to 3,018.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS ), which fell 12.82% or 15.30 points to trade at 104.10 at the close. Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED ) declined 12.79% or 53.70 points to end at 366.00 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa ) was down 6.44% or 710.00 points to 10,310.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 87 to 49 and 12 ended unchanged.
Shares in Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS ) fell to 3-years lows; down 12.82% or 15.30 to 104.10.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.06% or 0.04 to $71.95 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.30% or 0.23 to hit $75.30 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 2.59% or 71.10 to trade at $2,678.60 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 1.85% to 6.95, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.03% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 1.64% at 105.02.
