Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.59%

Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Healthcare , Software & Computer Services and Consumer Services sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.59%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED ), which rose 2.63% or 9.80 points to trade at 382.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb ) added 2.38% or 66.00 points to end at 2,838.00 and ISS A/S (CSE:ISS ) was up 1.55% or 1.90 points to 124.20 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV ), which fell 2.14% or 27.00 points to trade at 1,235.00 at the close. Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA ) declined 1.41% or 12.50 points to end at 872.50 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb ) was down 1.03% or 9.50 points to 912.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 83 to 47 and 12 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for October delivery was up 2.38% or 1.74 to $74.75 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 2.18% or 1.68 to hit $78.90 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.41% or 35.40 to trade at $2,552.10 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.67% to 6.67, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.77% at 100.62.
