Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Healthcare , Consumer Goods and Chemicals sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 2.68%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb ), which rose 5.11% or 156.00 points to trade at 3,210.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb ) added 3.78% or 28.20 points to end at 773.90 and Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA ) was up 3.60% or 30.50 points to 877.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb ), which fell 2.05% or 230.00 points to trade at 10,985.00 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa ) declined 2.04% or 220.00 points to end at 10,550.00 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS ) was down 1.77% or 1.90 points to 102.70.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 89 to 48 and 14 ended unchanged.
Shares in Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb ) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 5.11% or 156.00 to 3,210.00. Shares in Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS ) fell to 3-years lows; losing 1.77% or 1.90 to 102.70.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 2.96% or 2.08 to $68.30 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 2.69% or 1.99 to hit $71.88 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 2.62% or 70.60 to trade at $2,624.20 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.69% to 7.00, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.54% at 105.46.
