Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Consumer Goods , Healthcare and Chemicals sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 1.48%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb ), which rose 2.65% or 18.70 points to trade at 725.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NSISb ) added 2.18% or 8.50 points to end at 398.60 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa ) was up 0.78% or 90.00 points to 11,660.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb ), which fell 4.27% or 132.00 points to trade at 2,956.00 at the close. ISS A/S (CSE:ISS ) declined 3.67% or 4.90 points to end at 128.70 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA ) was down 2.42% or 26.50 points to 1,068.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 72 to 60 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.25% or 0.17 to $69.00 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.26% or 0.19 to hit $73.11 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.47% or 12.40 to trade at $2,627.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.22% to 7.05, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 106.24.
