Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Consumer Goods , Chemicals and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.78%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb ), which rose 3.47% or 106.00 points to trade at 3,158.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA ) added 3.12% or 26.50 points to end at 876.00 and NKT Holding (CSE:NKT ) was up 2.30% or 14.50 points to 645.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA ), which fell 3.70% or 43.00 points to trade at 1,119.00 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb ) declined 1.12% or 125.00 points to end at 11,055.00 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS ) was down 1.09% or 1.70 points to 153.70.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 67 to 65 and 17 ended unchanged.
Shares in Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb ) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 3.47% or 106.00 to 3,158.00.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.91% or 0.65 to $70.91 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.59% or 0.44 to hit $74.03 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.17% or 4.60 to trade at $2,681.60 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.21% to 6.68, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.28% at 100.44.
