Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Consumer Goods , Healthcare and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.64%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb ), which rose 1.80% or 13.40 points to trade at 758.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb ) added 0.40% or 3.60 points to end at 894.20 and DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV ) was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 points to 1,483.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED ), which fell 3.84% or 15.10 points to trade at 378.50 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS ) declined 3.32% or 3.50 points to end at 100.60 and Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb ) was down 2.61% or 78.00 points to 2,912.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 96 to 37 and 16 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.64% or 0.44 to $69.38 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.57% or 0.41 to hit $72.89 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.43% or 11.24 to trade at $2,653.84 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.18% to 7.12, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.21% at 107.00.
