Wall St opens higher, China stimulus boosts miners

(Reuters) - Wall Street's main indexes opened slightly higher on Tuesday, as investors scoured for clues on what the Federal Reserve's next policy move might be, while commodity stocks got a boost after China unveiled a bumper stimulus package.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 110.3 points, or 0.26%, at the open to 42234.99. The S&P 500 rose 9.1 points, or 0.16%, at the open to 5727.66​, while the Nasdaq Composite rose 72.2 points, or 0.40%, to 18046.442 at the opening bell.
